How long does a whole-home remodel take?

It depends on scope. A multi-room renovation can run a couple of months, while a full gut with new systems throughout can run much longer. Permit timing varies by city and is outside our control, and historic or hillside properties usually add review time. We put a schedule in front of you before work starts so you’re not guessing.

Do we need to move out during the remodel?

For a full gut renovation, usually yes. Water and power get shut down for stretches and the dust isn’t something you want to live in. For phased work where we take one area at a time, many clients stay. We’ll tell you honestly which situation yours is during the consultation.

Can you handle an addition as part of the remodel?

Yes. Additions carry the longest permit timeline of anything we do, so if one is part of your plan we start that process early and build the rest of the schedule around it.

Do you work with designers and architects?

Often. Some clients come to us with drawings already done, others want us to handle the whole thing. Both work. If you’re bringing your own designer we coordinate with them directly rather than putting you in the middle.
